Hawks streak finally snapped. Dug too deep of a hole in the 1st period - which is especially annoying because they showed how good they can play in the 2nd and 3rd frames. Oh well, can't win them all...
what a game at the tank tonight .... vancouver wins in the shootout, but very exciting and the sharks fought all night
they started out a little rough falling behind 2-0 ...... they equalized early in the 2nd and controlled the game from there out .... fell behind again on an odd bounce .... equalized with a tremendous individual play by torrey mitchell of all people ..... then with 2 minutes left they had a dubious penalty go against them .... to equalize again with under 30 seconds left
in OT they outshot vancouver 9-0 ...... 48-28 on the game .... the canucks backup goalie (schneider) played a fantastic game .... i don't know much about the kid, but it looks like he has all the tools .... very athletic performance
Canucks coach Vigneault admitted after the game the Sharks were the better team on the ice last night. Schneider kept them from collecting two points.
Though, considering the Sharks fell behind 2-0, never led, and then had to come from behind twice in the last 2+ minutes, I think they have to be somewhat satisfied with getting the one..
Now, I'd like to see Dan Boyle come back. The PP isn't the same without him..
Yeah ... Boyle definitely makes a difference, although I'm not sure what I want to see done with the D once he gets back because I really like what Braun & White bring as well
Even with the SO loss it was nice to see how the sharks have progressed against vancouver this year ..... the first game the ice was completely tilted towards vancouver .... gradually the sharks have been able to even it out almost to the point of tipping it in their favor
important back to back trip coming up with dallas/chicago .... probably see nitty for the first time in a long time
Caps are on FIRE 8 in a row after beating Hawks in OT yesterday.
I definately like the trade for Arnott as that has woken Semin and turned him loose again.
Now if they can only do this in the playoffs, PLEASE!!!!!!
