The Wild are playing pretty solid hockey overall the past month. Losing Mikko Koivu for the next three weeks will hurt but I think we got a shot at the playoffs.
Now my second team, my adopted team, the Thrashers well eh... The outlook is not sunny.
Alright well the trade deadline has passed and earlier today Washington picked up Dennis Wideman from Florida while Carolina picked up Bryan Allen for Sergei Samsonov. We also got Cory Stillman back a couple of days ago. Also Dustin Penner will be joining the Kings.

the Sharks look very confident out there against the wings this season - maybe some carry over from last year .... the joe has been a house of horrors for them, but sweeping the season there is awesome and something they've never done
nice to be on a homestand again as well .... the team is looking good ... white & braun are fitting in nicely, some of the turnovers and other mistakes are diminishing and for the most part they're playing smart playoff level hockey
tight games, blocking a lot of shots, paying the cost in the corners and in front and it's working
