The "convenience" Chick-Fil-A opened on Tuesday, if anyone hasn't already walked by and seen it.

Tragically, they don't serve waffle fries. (...or sweet tea, lemonade, nuggets/strips...)

Ok, if there's no fries, nuggets, or tea/lemonde offered...what the hell are they there for? Seems like they wont be serving 75% of what people come there for in the first place. Seems like they could've focused on having the plain chicken sandwich, nuggets, chicken biscuit, waffle fries, and drinks and that would've been fine.

It's basically a daily catering spot. Everything is made at the Cherrydale store, and then taken downtown. Maybe they'll look into making it more like a tiny location if it's successful.

hopefully this will help alleviate the traffic at the one on Laurens Road, cars get backed up on Laurens trying to turn into the parking lot during lunch hour at times.

McAlister Square has parking. It should not be that bad to walk over.

You underestimate the laziness of the population.

Most people would rather sit in their car in the drive thru lane for 30 minutes, backing up traffic and causing others inconvenience than walking 100 yards to the walk up window and being out of there in 5 minutes.

Personally.. I subscribe to the Joe Pesci theory.. "They *@($ you at the drive thru!", so I hardly ever use them.

There are a ton of people who go to the front of the restaurant as well, unless I am confusing it with Cookout, and they are probaby waiting longer than 5 minutes.
