Caviar & Bananas, a gourmet market and café currently under construction on Laurens Street at ONE City Plaza next to the Aloft Hotel, announced this week it will be opening on Aug. 5.
The 4,700-square-foot space will have an outdoor seating area and will be open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. This is the first Caviar & Bananas location that co-founders and owners Kris and Margaret Furniss will open outside of the Charleston market.

I saw a Toss Pizza Pub on the first floor of some condos on Church Street near Falls Park. I could not tell if it is open or not. There is another restaurant or store next to it.

Thanks for the news about Caviar and Bananas. The restaurant next to Toss is Biscuithead. I tried going there earlier this week (Google Maps said it was open) but it had not yet started. There was a help wanted sign in the window.

I live in those apartments. Lol. Toss is not open yet. Biscuit Head is going in next door. It's not open yet either though.
The old Italian Market location (most recently Bavarian Pretzel) on Woods Lake Rd across from the mall is under construction. Not sure what is going there.
Maybe it's being converted to another mattress store. Wink.
Saw that in another post above. One of the rare instances that Spartanburg lands a retailer before Greenville. Haywood doesn't have the room unless they do an add-on. Magnolia and DT are options I guess and Greenridge has the former OfficeMax space available. (I am surprised that hasn't been leased already- going to have the best visibility in Greenville as it backs up in the corner there to the new Gateway Interchange).
H&M tends to favor malls it seems.
