I disagree. Illegal aliens cost us in many ways. So not to repeat myself I believe I already denoted how they do under another post. 11+ million illegal aliens in our country is far more than a few. We need the wall.
Not presenting a balanced viewpoint is tantamount to dishonesty.
Simple. No wall just landmines under the ground and signs written in Spanish stating if you cross you die. And of course ICE with guns, dogs, vehicles etc. They will only shoot to kill if any intruder touches US soil. Plenty of equipment to observe any disturbances at night etc
If anyone harbors illegals they will be fined heavily and sent to jail. If anyone hires them read above same punishment only a higher fine.
If illegals are caught IMMEDIATE deportation. Hire more ICE agents. Destroy the sanctuary cities with care of course.
You might want to read my prior post in regards to the wall. Employers can't be arrested unless it is proven that they "knowingly" hired illegal aliens. It is hard to prove when illegal aliens use such authentic looking fake documents and stolen SS numbers to gain work. Recently, there have been cases where the employers were caught and fined for "knowingly" hiring illegal aliens. I can provide links if you want them. E-verify mandated would go a long ways in stopping that practice but it's not the total solution. The wall should be a part of that solution for reasons I indicated in my prior post.
We have the visa program for seasonal workers. We also have LEGAL immigration--and I am in favor of more LEGAL immigration. As far as I am concerned, as long as they are vetted, sponsored, pay their dues, pass all the tests, let's allow them in. There should be generous quotas. Quotas though, because too many new people will be harder to assimilate.
It should be made fair for all. Why do we citizens have to go through customs and have our luggage searched, maybe get patted down, show our passports to prove who we are and that we are legal, and at the same time, other people are coming into the country without having to do any of that. I have to go through customs to visit another country but these people are skipping the whole process and coming here to STAY.
No passport, no identification...nothing. Just sneak into our country. And the poor LEGAL immigrants who do it the right way. How must it make them feel? We need to get things under control, allow more LEGALS, and totally stop these illegals.

I don't think that at this time we need to increase our quotas for legal immigration. We have a shortage of jobs and resources. In the future perhaps but IMO not at this time. Also, we should diversify our quotas as too many from one national/ ethnic group leads to colonization not assimilation. Otherwise I agree with you but I still think completing the 700 mile long wall is warranted also.
How Should The Border Crisis Be Resolved? A Wall? The National Guard? Deportment? ... What Would You Do?
As long as US employers proffit from hiring illegals, the demand for their labor will continue to exist.
What so many Americans refuse to acknowledge is that the "right people" benefit from having millions of sub minimum wage illegals in our workforce, holding down pay and benefits for the legitimate labor force.
Illegal immigration is just one more facet of corporate welfare. Corporations own America. Do the math.
Is there a border crisis? Since when? Illegal migration is not a new thing.
The wall was already approved back in 2006. There are still thousands crossing our border illegally every year. I'm not sure what one would consider a crisis in order to build it. The last time the National Guard was put on the border they had little power to stop illegal entry but I'm sure their mere presence there was a deterrant.
Here's what you advocated -- your words, not mine:
""IF YOU ENTER THE UNITED STATES ILLEGALLY, YOU WILL BE SHOT, AND GO HOME IN A BODY BAG, NO EXCEPTIONS".
So I'm asking you if an American is guilty of breaking the laws of a country, thus being in the country illegally, should he just be shot dead by police or military and sent home in a body bag?
You'd be surprised the stories of American Citizens crossing into Mexico with a gun in their possession and being detained in jail with no way of getting out. Mexico has strict immigration laws. They don't want people coming in.
The idea of a wall and mobilizing the National Guard has to be one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard.
Want to stop illegal immigration? Holy smokes. It's incredibly easy.
1) Throw anyone who knowingly hires illegals in jail.
2) Create a guest worker program for those industries with temporary, seasonal demand such as agriculture. Half the pay is put into an escrow account payable upon the worker's return to his or her home country.
The problem with that are sanctuary cities of which San Francisco is a part. Recent example is a mayor that alerted the illegal aliens of an ICE raid.

By wall, you mean a fence? There is a difference between a problem and a crisis.
