That's the Hampton Inn that's about to be built. I got this from the 2016 Design Standards and Guidelines. They updated this image to include it.

Something else, any new buildings that are built on the following streets you see at the bottom MUST have a minimum of 3 stories from now on.

Since I posted it in another thread, I figured it would be best to post it here as well.

Not complaining but we need more of mixture of these types of buildings and 10 + story towers in the core. The towers don't have to be extremely tall. Also, I wish towards I 30 they built towers because it goes along way in giving Fort Worth a big city feel. Houston for example has always located tall buildings closer to there freeway, which does give a big city vibe.

Houston can't be used as an example because they have virtually NO zoning restrictions. I don't think we could get away with that.

I mean, maybe. After all, 30 was right next to the T&P buildings when it was over Lancaster. But I don't think the city wants to go in that direction with its updated building restrictions.

But I've got this news for West 7th at the bottom...

Hotel Renovo and The J Bar Fort Worth will be Heart of America Group’s first property in the State of Texas. The hotel and restaurant will be located in the cultural district next to five internationally acclaimed museums. The property aesthetics, inside and out, will complement the surrounding area and have a museum feel.

Location: Van Cliburn and Camp Bowie
Open: Spring 2018
Rooms: 171
Stories: 10
