I agree with you but I really do dislike the term "progressive" because of how it has been intoxicated with a political bias.

Well you know what he means by "progressive", so politics doesn't matter.

I know, I was just expressing my opinion on the word.

I figured if anybody knows rumors or any info on it, it may be you JJG. Do you know if XTO is going to build a skyscraper? I've heard rumors of a bigger one than the one the Jetta Company is building, but IDK if this is true?

As far as what XTO wants to do, the ONLY thing that's known right now is the 800-space garage.

Whether or not a tower will be built on it is still on the drawing board...

Well the mayor did say this will be Fort Worth biggest July ever. I'm hoping that includes a new XTO skyscraper.

Just imagine...

"Fort Worth to be the next home to the western hemisphere's next tallest skyscraper"

...one can only dream

(I'm kidding, the proportion to the rest of the downtown's skyline would be an eyesore like Midland's Energy Tower proposal, but a new super tall wouldn't hurt, right?)

I'd be fine with 50 floors. If it were stacked on top of an 800-space garage, that would add about 10-15 levels.

So it would be like having a 65 story building.

The tallest skyscraper that should be built within the current horizon and skyline should be at most a 70 story skyscraper. Anything bigger would be weird looking. lol

GE to Fort Worth? It sure seems like the city is trying woo GE to Fort Worth. The company has been steadily increasing production at its Fort Worth facility.
