Does anyone know how The Grand Apartments at Gateway are? I am looking into them for short term lease.

Default Just Moved to Three Oaks

Wow I can't believe it has been 3 years since I wrote that post! Hubby and i ended up moving to Three Oaks and LOVE IT. There are tons of families and children. There are so many kids the ice cream truck comes to my street!
We did look into Gateway once prices there fell into the range we could afford, but decided against it due to location (it's not exactly centrally located), East Zone schools aren't that great, and also, hubby felt it just had a somewhat "plastic" feel (He couldn't really expain what that meant; I thought the homes were nice enough). Oh yeah and some of the areas are close to the landfill or the "highwires."
I was very interested in the Cape but that would have tripled my commute.
Foreclosures are continuing in my neighborhood, (just like everywhere else), but they get bought up quickly once they go on the market.
So, if there are any other folks out there looking for a good area to raise a family, I would highly recommend Three Oaks!

I love Three Oaks. I lived on Pineapple for quite awhile and still have family that live there. They have the best trick-or-treating in swFlorida, hands down. I think it's the best family neighborhood in the entire area.
