What’s for Dinner

Hellofresh: spicy tunisian bulgur bowls, w/ zucchini, apricots, carrots, chermoula (?) and lemon sauce.

I'll probably add some spinach and green onions. If I find some energy I'll do a brussel sprout side.

Bone in chicken breast in the sous vide, brussels sprouts in brown butter and fried okra.

Stopped at one of our local eateries. I got my steak , also had a skewer of grilled shrimp and sides of Mac n cheese and cinnamon apples. Lemon iced tea at home to drink it all down. I think I have enough left over for another meal. Maybe next week.

Pepperoni & mushroom pizza with a side of hot buffalo wings w/ blue cheese. SPICY !

Got out my slow cooker, put in meat, potatoes, celery, carrots, onions and a packet of pot roast seasoning. Cooked for 6 hours...delicious.

For dinner this evening we had soup and salad. Moroccan-spiced roast cauliflower almond soup topped with EVOO, thyme and a dollup of fresh made harissa paste. The salad was a Lebanese tabbouleh. Served with garlic naan and a glass of zinfandel. Dessert is Mrs B's hot out of the oven peanut butter cookies.

Broiled Sockeye salmon fillets with green beans. Key lime pie for dessert and Pinot noir to drink.
