Tonight will be seafood appetizers: raw oysters on the half shell with limes and hot sauce; crab legs with butter and lemon; scallop and raw shrimp tostadas (topped with pico, avocado and spicy lime sauce); and baked potatoes. Mexican beer for the guys and pinot grigio for me.
Planned ahead for the winter storm hitting a large part of the country starting today and over the next few days and made chicken stock on Sunday. Tonight it became chicken and dumplings with baby carrots and celery sticks on the side.
