We are at the coast on a fishing expedition- not the kind in a boat - just hitting up all of our favorite seafood shops. Went to dinner at our favorite restaurant and had oysters on the half shell, boiled shrimp and DH had baked fish while I had crab nachos.

Tonight was a Mardi Gras celebration (of sorts) with my mom (and also celebrating an early Valentine's Day) at Pappadeaux in nearby Grapevine, TX. I had fried crawfish, crawfish etouffee (over dirty rice), buttered French bread, red beans with rice, red wine, and iced tea. Mom had shrimp salad, bread, and iced tea.
