It is quite cold tonight so I took some green chile stew out of the freezer. I will have that plus warm buttered tortillas with hot, unsweetened tea.

I thought the cold weather called for some Indian food to warm us up -I made a chicken Tikka Masala (sauce from a jar) and a spinach rice dish to go with.

Rigatoni with eggplant, mushrooms, tomatoes and chili peppers. Served with a tossed salad, crusty bread and a glass of cabernet sauvignon.
