Not hungry today... my 2nd job offer fell through in 2-wks... I'm a stress non-eater (thankfully).

For lunch, all I could force myself to eat was a few onions sauteed in olive oil & red wine & 1/4 ribeye with fresh thyme. I'll eat the rest for dinner, although it will more likely be b'kfast tomorrow with egg yolks.

Back to the drawing board for me.

Semi-homemade lemon curd tartlets from my delightful Secret Garden Cookbook. The shells are baked in a mini-muffin pan. I am cheating and using jarred lemon curd. When I run out, I will put cherry preserves in the rest of the tart shells.

Each is to be garnished with an orange mint leaf from our little garden.

I SUPPOSE I shall make a salad also.

Was that what you wanted?!!

I've all but given up sending DH to the store. I am very specific with my shopping list, and yet I have 10 lbs of powdered sugar in the pantry we will never use.

Sirloin in the sous vide and seared on the grill, mashed potatoes and sautéed zucchini. I splurged and bought some Dulce de Leche ice cream as a consolation for having received my second shot today!

Seared tuna rubbed with a bit of sesame oil and tamari, sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. Wasabi potato latkes. Asian green beans, steamed, shocked, then reheated with a sauce of sesame oil, tamari, brown sugar, garlic, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, then toasted sesame seeds at end. Everything was quite good. The latkes and green.beans were first timers, but definitely won't be only timers.
