Chicken flautas, Spanish rice, guac and Ritz crackers (no corn chips in the house), green olives because I felt like it.

Bachelor Son's birthday today. He just missed being a Bicentennial baby.

We went to one of our favorite local restaurants (third generation) for calamari, lobster and shrimp ravioli, tenderloin medallions in gorgonzola sauce, asparagus, wild mushrooms, fried shrimps. Hot fudge brownie sundaes and carrot cake.

Almost too full to sing "Happy Birthday." It was a festive evening.

Broiled NY Strip steaks with salad and baked potatoes. Cabernet Sauvignon to drink.

Shrimp scampi on angel hair pasta, oven-broiled mushrooms, onions and (first time ever) okra from garden.

Okra was non-favorite for both of us, later my throat need clearing and cough arrived, nothing else was new to eat so maybe okra dunno.
