Tonight was Chinese takeout - Kung Pao beef for DH and orange chicken for me. Was disappointed in the hot and sour soup - wasn’t nearly as good as our usual place but the rest was good.

Tonight was kinda-sorta our St Patrick's Day meal as I'm getting vaccinated tomorrow afternoon and may or may not feel like acting Irish afterwards! Dinner was not truly traditional but it was in the Irish spirit! We made a new dish for us, vegan pastrami, which was quite good! This was served with fresh baked sourdough rye bread, stone-ground mustard, our home ground horseradish, and a dill pickle along with a vegan colcannon. Guinness beer to drink and Mrs B's mint brownies for dessert.
