Ham, salami, and Swiss on rye bread with sweet-hot mustard, vinegar, and lettuce.

Should have added red onion!

I served the sandwiches with potato chips and carrot sticks.

Broiled sirloin steaks, green beans and baked potatoes. Cabernet Sauvignon to drink. A chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

Me: Cuban sandwich and fries, home-made garlic aoli for the fries
Him: Turkey panini with avocado and side of green salad
Stopped at grocery on way home for chocolate layer cake slice to split for dessert.
Everything was great, yum.

DH has three browned elk roasts and some caramelized onions in the slow cooker. Where he's going from there is anyone's guess.

I have oranges, grapes and a pineapple to cut up for a salad. Think I'll use a whipped cream and lemon curd dressing.

Maybe I'll peel some potatoes for tossing in with the meat and onions. Gotta check with the Chef first.
