It has been a busy few weeks and now we have an upcoming long weekend.Over the weekend my family celebrates a belated Valentine's birthday of my youngest son and also a 2 year birthday of our little granddaughter.
Tonight homemade vegetarian calzone served with green salad.To drink a glass of local Ontario red wine.For dessert a pomegranate,orange and grapefruit salad with a shot of Grand Marnier and a little meringue heart.
Later by the fireplace a few rounds of Canasta while enjoying a glass of Glühwein with gingersnap cookies.
Vietnamese takeout: Pho with beef, fresh rolls with shrimp, sushi for husband. Wonderful and herby.
Dessert was late Valentine present for spouse: individual chocolate lava cake from book Desserts for Two. Very easy to make.
