Enjoyed two chicken soft tacos with Mexican cheese, lettuce, cilantro and salsa. Today was National Taco Day. Drank Modelo Negro beer.

Market fried chicken (tossed the coating & skin)... & 2 Hi-5 IPAs, for extra nutrients. Next week, I've got to get back to organic cooking... these frozen dinners & deli foods aren't to my liking, at all.

Last night was burgers, local tomatoes and corn on the cob.

Tonight I'm going solo, and will probably stop by Cava and get a bowl of lentils & greens with roasted veggies and a tahini dressing

our daughter is president of an organization that encourages good education for kids. Every year their big fund raiser is a spaghetti dinner. That is tonight, so we have tickets. We will pick the dinner up, after a day of shopping and bring it home for dinner. The best part of this, not only is the meal 100% home made, no bottled sauce or pre made meat balls, it is free for us as she always buys the tickets for us. it is a win/win situation complete with hardly any dishes to clean up.
