Earlier this evening I went to Famous Dave's Barbecue with a friend. Enjoyed a hickory chicken sandwich with Monterey Jack cheese & two bacon strips and fries. Drank an Apocalypse IPA.

It summer, it's hot and it is Sunday, what else other than a nice steak on the grill? And what goes better with a nice steak than a great green salad? I still have to get rid of all the damn squash we have so guess i will make a small squash casserole. Spoiled brat will eat it that way without complaining too much.

Yesterday I hosted my bookclub, so dinner was leftovers: baguette slices with chevre and pistou, dijon chicken with herbs, ratatouille, couscous with gremolata, and genoise with raspberry curd, fresh peaches and whipped cream.

Today will be much simpler: salmon, corn & green beans.
