Case when I worked that's what I did too-made life a little easier.

Just noticed I fractured the word "potatoes"-oh well.

Happy Monday all.

Left-over shredded turkey tacos in flour tortillas with salsa, sour cream, grated cheddar, and shredded cabbage. Heat up tortilla w/ turkey, salsa, and cheese in toaster oven until cheese melts, take out, put other ingredients on and serve.

A post-Thanksgiving invention of my brother's years ago. Yum.

Good morning everyone! So far I have survived this last week! I am very tired but all is going quite well. Tonight we are having swiss steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. We have done a lot of eating out so that has worked out very well. We usually don't eat big breakfasts and lunches but with all the company here it seems we just finish one meal and it's time for the next--whew!! My poor dishwasher is running all day! We drove to the city to meet with another bunch of old friends of all of ours and enjoyed dinner out last night. I think today is a day of rest for us. I do have to go and buy some groceries---it's amazing just how much seven people can eat! One more week and it will be down to 5 of us. Other then getting so worn out we are having a good time. My son is still job hunting and looking at homes so they are pretty busy too. All in all things are going pretty smooth. I am very happy to see all the great posts here. It takes me a while to read each day just to catch up. I sure hope I don't miss any good new recipes!

Morning cyn, glad you are enjoying your visit. I know what you mean about meals and company. When my mother and grandmother came to visit, it seemed that all we did was eat. Had to make breakfast, then what seemed like an hour later boom its time for lunch, then dinner. I think I boycotted cooking for two weeks after they left. lol

Hi Cyn-have missed you but know you're so busy. When company leaves you just have to put your feet up and relax. Hope all works out for your son and his family.

Tonight-leftover steak and I'll make tacos with all the toppings and refried beans.

Tonight is going to be beef stew. Sounds strange to be cooking stew in 90 degree hot and humid weather but I have a craving for it, at least it's cool in the house!
