We're having something of a heatwave at the moment (until last week the last time I felt anything over 15ºc was last July!) so we're having nice, cool salad dinner tonight. Nothing fancy, just tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, green tossed salad, coleslaw, etc. Oh, and a bit of garlic bread for good measure.
Ok, hubby helped me figure out what we are having tonight. He and my son have karate class tonight so I am not cooking anything extravagent. We are going to have hot turkey sub sandwiches, basically french loaf of bread, turkey, lettuce, cheese, condiment of choice warmed up enough to melt the cheese, with french fries on the side.
Hi CrazyW-2 sofar and feedback was #1 we are right there but they want to be closer to town (we're 2 miles!!) #2 we're they're choice but they have still to list their house.
Okay, so how about some ideas for different, yet tasty pizza topping creations! I'm in the mood to experiment a little
My hubby has been on a kick lately with making little mini pizzas, last time he did one with parm. cheese, feta, olive oil and then sauteed some onions and green pepper to put on top. It was really tasty. He has also been trying to recreate this spinich pizza from our local pizza joint. It has we think, spinich, feta, mozzerella basically a white pizza. The spices are what we can't nail down.

There is a really good one from Sammy's Woodfired Pizza in San Diego that has pear and arugula and some kind of cheese on it. fantastic! (the arugula is not cooked but put on at the end and I think it has a vinaigrette on it)
It went well in that I got the referral to a doctor who will do the surgery on my knee. It's just kinda frustrating that I live in Rochester MN, home of the supposed best hospital in the country and to get my knee fixed I have to go down to Fort Worth, TX.
