Will be good with grilled smoked turkey/pepper jack/roasted red pepper sandwiches.
Glad ya liked it.

Tonight is chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. I really don't feel at all like cooking anything but if I have to cook this is fairly simple. Still....I'm starting to dislike the kitchen about now. I'm so ready to serve dinner on paper plates but of course hubbie won't have that---maybe he should do the dishes! Ha! It hot here today so that isn't helping...guess it's time to turn on the a/c.

Default Time For Pizza

Tonight is Pizza Hut in my humble abode. I've got a large, thin crust with Italian sausage and onion.

The pizza, not me.

Haven't made up my mind yet..... either steak fajitas or steak alfredo. I'm leaning towards the fajitas cause they are faster to make.....

Tomorrow is either lasagna with garlic bread and caesar salad or something I got off of food network called Recipes : Turkey Polpettone Sandwiches : Food Network

I've actually made these before and they are delicious! But we might make them smaller - like stuffed meatballs and have them on sub rolls

I've been in the kitchen for several hours this morning.
After a short trip to the grocery and drug store I went right into the kitchen to cook something nice for lunch b/c my parents have friends over and they always bring stuff for DS so I wanted to make something special to say thanks.

I prepared steaks cut into smaller pieces, fried them shortly in oil then put them into a big and deep pan. Then I fried some bacon (in cubes) and 6 onions (in small cubes) as well as about 10 mushrooms in slices.
Then you have to pour in two cups of cream and 5 cups veggie broth, stir well and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Add two large spoons of mustard and a bit sauce thickener. All this has to go over the steaks and into the oven for about 30-45 minutes.

Tonight we'll have friends over for a barbeque. Everybody's bringing something so I ended up with preparing veggie salad, noodle salad and I also want to gratinate some potatoes which are sprinkled with garlic and herb butter.

Have a great weekend all!

Good morning all! I think tonight will be pork chops, some kind of starch and salad. Going to try and find a different way to make the chops, open to any suggestions!
