Hey guys--you all made me laugh! Thanks for the uplifting posts! I'm so happy I was not out of line with my thinking. I felt like I must be a horrible person for my thinking and feeling put out a bit. We shall survive. My house is in constant motion about 14 hours of each day! Crazy but not boring. We BBQed hot dogs, had sliced watermelon, potatoe chips and chile. Onions were optional--HA!! My DIL is making a birthday cake for my son now. Tomorrow is his birthday!! I am relaxing with a margarita--a strong margarita! I have survived another day.

Cyn in a way, I envy your full house. We haven't had visitors for a while, and we don't have a lot of close friends down here yet. Glad you're enjoying your onion-free guests!

Default Ay Caramba

Tonight was huevos rancheros. Yeah, I was in a breakfast mood. Had to break out the corn tortillas, the Owens hot sausage, and the salsa this evening.

a margarita sounds so good this weekend. Last night I made stuffed burgers on the grill with salad and corn. they were yummy for something i just thew together without a receipe.

it is amazing what you miss when you don't come on here for a day and a half. I went back about 5 or 6 pages to get caught up. WOW!!

I am wondering what everybody is having to eat for memorial weekend? I think that we are going to have brats and burgers with caramalized onions on the side, beans, chips, and few other things. and if I am feeling really energetic i might just make homemade buns. we'll see how the mood plays out.

Well I hope that you all have a great memorial weekend and enjoy a few good drinks.
