I never had OG's Alfredo but I would love the recipe for their sausage zuppa soup. Now that is delicious. Anyone have it or the equivalent?
I found it.
The ingredients include:
1 1/2 c Spicy sausage links (12 links)
6 slices of Bacon
3/4 c Diced onions
1 1/4 ts Minced garlic
2 tb Chicken base
1 qt Water
2 ea. Medium potatoes, cut in half Lengthwise then cut into 1/4 Inch slices
2 c Kale leaves, cut in half, then sliced
1/3 c Heavy whipping cream
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place sausage links onto a sheet pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until done; cut into half lengthwise, then cut at an angle into 1/2 inch slices. Place onions and bacon in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until onions are almost clear. Add garlic and cook an additional 1 minute. Add chicken base, water and potatoes, simmer 15 minutes. Add sausage, kale and cream. Simmer 4 minutes and serve.
Good Night......the charcoal grilled steak was fantastic as well as the beans and rice/potato choice. It was relatively easy to keep within my diet guidelines.....and delicious!
My dh said the steak fajitas were great. I had some rice and some
hot little dip for chips. *dieting too.
Tonight? He's on his own - leftovers? Me? salad
I'm making cube steak tonight--just quick fried with a bit of Worcestershire sauce splashed on it with S&P. Probably some mashed potatoes with gravy, fresh Zucchini and sliced tomatoes. I need to make something very simple..my mind is not working well today. I feel like a zombie. Just talked to my grandsons daddy, my SIL, Ambers hubby and he said the baby is doing better but it's going to be pretty sore.
