I am also considering PA and Oil city is the best place in PA that suits my needs. Maybe we can meet in person?

Jersey is where we are from and before that NY! I would take Jersey over this state anyday. We sold our house and will be out in a few months.
We are moving up to NE Pa. right on the border of North Jersey.
Thank goodness! There's nothing like being near NY and NJ where all the fun stuff is not to mention family and friends.
Jersey and PA except for a reason is not the answer.Family Jobs, etc., but with work, taxes, and heat? in the winter to stay warm?

to be where you are happy, family etc., however PA, and Jersey, does not come cheap. Also the other taxes, and fuel heat? No state is perfect.

You never know when a hurricane is going to come and destroy your home and then you may just get dropped by your insurance company and be left with nothing.
Up north is the place to be.

Florida is ok to visit but that's about it.
Sorry, that's just the way I feel about this backwards State.
Yes, I am from the north, and got taxed to death. Florida, has problems,
and, yup, i got dropped by my hoi! I do recall, one boss did say now what brown cow? Anyway, I also may need to move. However, I do not wish to go to the fire from the pan?

Why is he a jerk? Because they are losing money ? That makes him a jerk ?

You know, the inconsistencies are incredible on their own. But this is downright nasty.

He is a jerk because he already has another house to sell here in Deep Creek and his wife hates it here. Is that a good enough answer for you? He knew what was going on when he bought this house. Heck, he can't even sell his previous home. It is still sitting on the market.

As far as Florida being PARADISE, it still is. It's the politics that are destroying this state. The natural beauty is still here but for how long?
If they just keep building with no regards to nature then what do you think is going to come of the animals, plants and everything that was here before the new communities????
Well???
Come on guys, you know as well as I do that we have major problems with the Gulf of Mexico, the water being released from Lake O
and the animals that are being pushed out of their enviornments.
