Haha pretty much everything a woman does to herself/wears is 'false advertising.'
depends on what your definition of 'false advertising' is.
if you want a woman who never removes her body hair, never gets her hair/nails done, never does anything in the slightest that would alter her appearance from the way she fell out of the womb, that's cool. but to most men that woman would look like a slob.
I hope you are luckier than I, every pound I lose makes bra shopping harder. I am shrinking in the band...and not the cup putting me in bra size purgatory.
I feel your pain.
Recently I lost 14 pounds - and five inches in my bustline, but apparently it was all "back fat" or something, I don't know. Long story short, no tops I had fit me and all my bras made me feel like I was swimming in an ocean of weird fabric and funny little wires.
Finally I said, "Enough of this foolishness." Here at Dillards, they have a bra fitting specialist, so off I went to see her.
She told me that it is very common for women to wear a bra that is too big in the band and too small in the cup - and then they wonder why they don't have any cleavage. So then they buy push up bras or padded bras in the wrong size and things get even worse.
Imagine my amazement when she cut my band size by several inches, and upped my cup size by several sizes!
Wow - I felt like a new woman. In fact, I was so impressed I spent nearly $300 in the lingerie department!
ALL my clothing fits great now, and I feel so much more comfortable and attractive. Silly me, I never even realized that I didn't need all that padding or "pushing up" - all I needed was the right size bra.

When I got to my right size bra, it was amazing what a difference it made. Now I still have a bit more to lose when I hit my goal. But the problem is, when I got to the right size, I was near the top end of the cups for most "mainstream" full bust brands (at least the ones at Nordstroms). And now I am at the top end where they don't make many options. I lost about 4 inches in the bust, and 4 inches in the "underbust" area too. Every inch after this puts me in both band and cup purgatory, unless I somehow drop 3 more cups!
I don't feel like I am the bustiest woman walking around -- it doesn't seem like I am way out of proportion. I see people larger than me all the time, I wonder where they get their bras!
where do they sell good larger sizes? My mother is a size 14/16 with boobs to match but she still wears an old 38c strapless bra from VS almost everyday. I think once menopause hit she stopped caring but I would like to help her find a decent bra.
I'm female. Don't "need" a padded bra, but if I did, I would not feel comfortable about wearing one. I just think it is deceitful. As are a lot of the things women do as far as their appearance goes. If things work out, he will find out and probably be disappointed that they are not as big as he thought. I know I would be upset if I thought some guy was packing and I found a tube sock. If I had any issues w/nipple erections, I would for sure do something about it though. I personally do not want my nips sticking out. I also do not want to see others. I find it tacky. Old-fashioned I guess. While were are on the subject of bras, I wonder when it became okay to have bra straps obviously hanging out of your clothing. But, I guess if it's okay w/the person who is doing it, then that's their deal.
