Sorry for your information the vast majority of Italians have very dark hair and brown, but also hazel eyes. Though there is a large minority which has blonde/red hair, blue eyes and fair skin. This large minority is more frequently found in the north than the south of Italy. Since when was Italy as light as Northern Europe? Are you O.K.?
This might refresh your mind a little:
Red hair: Please take a look at Italy, it is no different from other Southern Europeans. Italians are actually overall darker-skinned than the Portuguese.

Blue and light eyes do not predominate in the Italian population.
Neither does blonde and light hair. In the European context, Italy is a dark country. We can see clearly that Italy doesn't figure in the Nothern European spectrum where blonde and light hair is common.
Thus let us stop with the Italian and Central Asian jokes. The fact is that light pigmentation in Europe reaches two extremes, one is that of blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair skin reaching the maximum frequency in Scandinavia and Iceland.
Well exhibited by this Scandinavian child, we can see the hair is excessively blond, but in most cases that colour darkens as one grows older.

Greeks and Spaniards were in Italy years ago in history so that would explain why some Italians are dark but still most of them are as light as northern Europeans.

Iberian? I am definitely not an Iberian, but I am an American of Anglo-Saxon and Dutch ancestries. I am not biased against Italians and I am not favoring any of them. I could care less for regions and countries. Facts are the following Italians are indeed more "Mediterranean" racially and genetically than Iberians.
Firstly the GWAS study in 2012 of pigmentation in four European countries, Ireland, Italy, Poland and Portugal comparing them in terms of hair, eye and skin colour. This was a very well coordinated and credible study. The conclusion was that in terms of skin colour, the Irish were found the lightest while Italians were found to be the darkest. For eye colour, the Irish were the lightest and the Portuguese darkest, in hair colour the Irish were slightly ahead of Poles and the Portuguese slightly ahead of Italians.
Thus it is not bias, rather a scientific fact!

You need to post better pix, so the eye color is visible.
There you go a close-up shows you well the dark blue eyes combined with platinum-blonde hair of these Swedish kids which is very Nordic. Their hair colour is what is meant by Swedish blonde hair.
That's not strawberry blonde, it's golden blonde. And I agree that you have an agenda, because you're really not connected with reality in some of these countries.
To get a better understanding of hair color, I suggest you pay a visit to the hair dye section of your local drugstore, and study the color names and the colors represented on the boxes. It will become immediately clear that golden blond and strawberry blond are two completely different colors.
And thanks, I can see the blue eyes now, lol! But you're aware that blue eyes in some people turn brown or hazel later in childhood, right? I had blue eyes as a small child, but by early grade school, my eyes were brown.
Viking invasions and settlements also helped increase the percentage of blondeness in many European populations particurlarly those of Britain, Ireland, Baltic countries, parts of Russia, the Low countries, northern Germany, northern France. Intermarrying betweeen locals and Vikings increased blondeness in those countries, due to the fact the highest concentration of blondes are in found in Scandinavian populations.
