Haha ... I hope no one believes that's what she's actually saying or doesn't understand that they cut the tape to make it look like she threw up more than once. (Oh, no wait, I know many people do believe that video - had this discussion at work not long ago.)

But I agree - the "Nothing happened, let's continue" -mentality is very strong in Sweden. Don't know about Denmark nor Norway.

Wanna trade with me? I'm heading back to the US in the morning, but I'd actually much rather stay here in Sweden where I have family, friends, old job and everything.
Trust me, the "new and exciting" gets "normal and boring" rather quickly. Think twice or ten times before you do anything drastic.

That is quite a paradox for how you feel about Sweden and Scandinavia.

It seems like it is a fun place and people seem to know how to have high quality fun over there so I don’t see how it would be boring.

Also, I thought plenty of people that live there would enjoy the weather there and not mind it because it is what they are used to.

Scandinavian weather is not ideal for me, but the weather aspect does not even matter that much to me in this case because of all of the positive things about Scandinavia upstages that.

That is true countries such as Sweden, Norway, and Denmark seem to be some of the best when it comes to politics, humanity, society, and education.

I would have fun and enjoy living in those countries.

The weather matter, you can´t imagine how while you don´t live in a place like that. The weather affects the mood, way of relating etc. much more than you think. But i agree, those countries are admirable in many ways.

Winters isn't always fun, but there are lots of people who like winter more than summer, specially up here in the north.

I just looooovvvveeee Stockholm. Soooo much.

I'm kinda shocked by that Monica. Stockholm is pretty darn big, by far the biggest city in the Nordics, with the true population of Stockholm being at least 1 million.

In some ways weather does matter, but in other ways it seems overrated for a place.

Well, I lived in Seattle, which has a somewhat similar climate to parts of Southern Scandinavia. I love Seattle/Pacific Northwest too even though I don’t like the weather there sometimes and I was happy, at peace, and content there as well.

I can imagine the weather in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark easily and I still know I would have fun living in those countries and enjoy living in those countries, even if the weather is not ideal. That is because the positive stuff about those countries upstages the weather.

Those 3 countries are ranked some of the most happiest countries in the world and are some of the most peaceful countries as well where it seems easy to be content.

At least you agree Sweden, Norway, and Denmark are admirable countries in many ways, even if you don’t like the weather there.

Oh. I can definitely see how you feel like that. Sometimes people need a change of scenery in their lives, to live in new places, and travel around a bit.

Which city/town are you moving to in California? My guess is it probably is San Francisco or Los Angeles. That sounds fun to go from Stockholm Sweden to California and to be able to live in both of those places.

I like the USA (the country I live in) but I also would love to live in a different country and that would be fun.
