Non of these things are better in Sweden. That is just something we are brainwashed to believe. I'll give them that the wellfare system is ok, but has many flaws.
I'm sure the vast majority of people will disagree. No sane person believes the US has a better quality of life then Sweden
And who is brainwashing who? The Swedish government? The US? What!? LOL.

Just coming back from Koh Lanta (Thailand) which is an unofficial Swedish colony, even with Swedish schools and Swedish stores, etc , there are direct daily flights Stockholm-Krabi.
Didn't enjoy much the Swedish crowd. They are quite unobtrusive, which is a positive point, but besides that, they came off as standoffish and exceefingly clanish, with a fair amount of young "eurotrash" types (bald, strongly built tattooed guys with their bony tattooed blonde female counterparts). They didn't strike me as specially congenial or highly educated, but I may be wrong.
They seem to prefer staying among themselves and are politely evasive with other nationalities.
I don't know how they relate to Thai people and how they can stand the constant 95°F with high humidity of the place - I had a hard time with it, and I'm from a country noticeably milder than Sweden!

On a related topic, myself and three mates are headin to Norway this weekend. Any bars open late there. We are not getting a hotel and are flying back at 7.30am. So ... Are there any clubs open in Oslo till 6am???

There might be some open til 5, if it is the same as in Sweden.

Unfortunately it appears they close at 3 am, also remember that drinks are supposed to be rediculously expensive.
Anyway back on topic, Denmark FTW!
