He's an Obama supporter. He's also vying for VP or cabinet post. He is hardly objective. Would you really expect him to say otherwise?
Of course he will try and bring McCain down a notch. He is interested in getting Obama elected.
How incredible is it for Clark to say McCain is untried and untested when you have Obama sittin there with zippo military/foreign policy experience. He is the ultimate neophyte. Clark's credibility goes right out the window on that one.

What a laugher.
It is incredible to me that you cannot get the point.
McCain claims to be tried and test. So questioning his assertion is independent of any thing else.
Logical flow.
You tell me that you are an expert in hydroponics and I question the basis for your expertise.your answer to my inquiry is that Margaret is not a hydroponics expert, it does not prove you are an expert, it only notes that Margaret, who never claimed to be an expert, is not an expert.
Can you say have enough sense if not military experience to know that a third front in Iran is not wise and will destroy the finances of most Americans?
Clark seems to have been elimonated from the higher command post as many were after vietanm. He mostly has turned actor in the talkhead shows now days. I remember him saying we would lose 20,000troops in the invasion phase of the Iraq war. Now we know whay.
He spent 34 years in the Army and the Department of Defense. That appears to cover policy formation, leadership in a crisis, and responsibility as well as culpability.
Your turn.
Nothing you have said addresses my criticism. He was a lifer. Big deal. Now he wants to extend it at the taxpayers' expense.

Why should we permit him to do so?

I addressed your criticism directly. I can continue to post the General's resume or perhaps you can lay his claim to rest by answering the criticism. The OP and topic is Senator McCain is weaker on National Security as well as leadership on critical issues, such as leadership in terms of use of force, than he would have us believe. Some examples to the contrary would be excellent as this will allay any concerns regarding these matters and we can move on to discussion of other policy matters regarding the candidates.
Because Clark wants the DepSecDef job if Obama wins.
Exactly. Face it, they're all a bunch of dirtbags who will do whatever they have to do to move up there ladder.
