Early Voting just kicked off today in the Sunshine State and we are off to a great start, Some of the northern counties that lean Romney/Ryan had trouble with the machine and voters in Hudson, Fla were told to put the votes in a box and they would tabulated at another time. And then 2 hours later the machine worked, an elderly woman was there and told her experience of what happened at her poll.

Its kind of scary to hear that votes are in a box somewhere....

Well in an affluent area in Fla 5,000 voters came out to early vote at this one Library. I live in that area and was quite amazed to see the difference between the zeal of why people are voting for whom they are voting.

A good number of Republicans actually believe Obama is a communist. They believe honestly that he is a socialist. They truly feel he is bad for America. They will admit they dont know Romney's agenda, but believe and have faith its better than Obama.

The Obama supporters appear to be passionate and are standing with the President. There is a different energy that comes with when you believe in someone vs disliking your opponent and willing to take anyone in place of the one you dislike.

When there is good energy it is synergistic and that always prevails. It was funny to see blacks and whites talking in code to feel each other out to see who the other was going to vote for. At the end We saw obama supporters taking pics with each other, hugging and saying God bless you. I did the same.

As one elderly white woman said to me and my family in line with her veteran husband both supporting Obama, "hate will never prevail, history will repeat itself again and us uniting to re elect the President, i am proud to be a part of history once again" What a moment...

Regardless of whom you are voting for, know this, every election you have contributed to history itself What a great country. God Bless you, God bless President Obama and the First Family and God Bless the United States of America!!!

That elderly woman will be shocked if Obama is re-elected, as she won't find anyone in Florida to accept her medicare healthcare insurance. The 30% cut in reimbursement, scheduled to go into effect on Jan 1st to fund Obamacare, will result in MANY physicians around the US dropping medicare (we are going to do so).

I am really surprised that ANY SENIOR would support Obama, as they will experience a marked and serious decline in the availability and quality of their healthcare. I guess it shows that propaganda works and people will vote against their self interest if they are dumb enough.

Speaking of "hate"- she will "hate" Obama when she can't get healthcare. However, at that time it will be too late. At that time, I am sure that Obama will not give a damn.

So you think the elderly will be happier when they have to choose an insurance company every year over Medicare? Do you think the insurance companies will be looking out for the welfare of the elderly first and foremost? Those are the questions when you are talking about the alternative which is privatizing.

chica_bella813 is this week's MVP... Most Valuable Poster.
She speaks her mind freely as the few remaining Republicans on this site make personal attacks against her.
There are few remaining Republicans on this site because there are few remaining Republicans anywhere.
Thank you, chica_bella813 for you contributions to this forum. Whatever you see from these GOPers who know they are going to lose this election, please understand that there are many more people who are on your side.

My dad is a senior in Florida and trust me he is not dumb. He has voted Republican all his life, not this time though. He thinks Ryan's voucher system is absurd and he should have never been a running mate since he brings absolutely nothing to the ticket. He thinks Romney is stupid and will say anything to get elected. He thinks Obama will win. He's not voting this election though.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I very much appreciate it. I am a very strong woman and know how the weak and those not on the side of positivity act. God bless you my friend. I couldn't rep you again...

He lives in swing state Fla, would be directly affected, will not vote this time around and you say he's not dumb?
What exactly is your definition of "dumb"?
