What exactly is your definition of "dumb"?
Dumb is not knowing the issues and just voting party lines. He won't do that. He says Romney is all over the place with issues and he doesn't trust him. You call that dumb???

Fla is different. It is considered a risk state due to its number of seniors. Fla's model has either Medicare HMO, Medicare PPO or straight Medicare. Medicaid and Medicare combined can only be provided to those who meet criteria. Fla is a different breed in and of itself, I dont know why Fla and the insurance companies operate differently there. Another sad thing is the PCP Primary Care Physician doesnt have as much power in Fla, they answer to the insurance companies especially if it is a HMO. Other states give MD more flexibility. Fla does ALOT things backwards...but the voucher program would substantially hurt seniors whether it be from our age bracket 30+ or those currently retired. Healthcare is not in good shape. MD's are retiring left and right, especially PCP's

I think he is wise and not comfortable with Obama and I would do the same if I didnt feel comfortable with my party's candidate and if I didnt care for the incumbment. Please tell your dad to look at the Amendments and the ploy Gov Rick Scott put on the ballot to remove the current justices. Alot of people are not aware of that. I do agree with you, that someone who agrees party line only is not wise. A party can only go as far as you elect them

It's dumb not to vote in a state where one's vote really matters. Yes, he's dumb. Many of us would love to have our votes count, but can't.

So you are saying my dad should vote on party lines even when he doesn't agree. No way!! He's not dumb at all. Why would you even say that about him. He can't stand Romney or Obama. So who do you think he should vote for....no one!!!!

How about Gary Johnson? There must be someone of some party who at least meets some of his beliefs.

He thinks Romney is stupid and will say anything to get elected. He thinks Obama will win. He's not voting this election though.
My Dad is a hardcore Republican and former business owner. He is voting for Romney, but only as a straight ticket.

Now, my Dad thinks Ryan has some great ideas fiscally. He's a big fan and quite frankly, I don't mind Ryan either. At least he has ideas. Romney, on the other hand, he sees as an opportunist and the so called "wrong" kind of business person.

And then 2 hours later the machine worked, an elderly woman was there and told her experience of what happened at her poll.

Its kind of scary to hear that votes are in a box somewhere....

Well in an affluent area in Fla 5,000 voters came out to early vote at this one Library. I live in that area and was quite amazed to see the difference between the zeal of why people are voting for whom they are voting.

A good number of Republicans actually believe Obama is a communist. They believe honestly that he is a socialist. They truly feel he is bad for America. They will admit they dont know Romney's agenda, but believe and have faith its better than Obama.

The Obama supporters appear to be passionate and are standing with the President. There is a different energy that comes with when you believe in someone vs disliking your opponent and willing to take anyone in place of the one you dislike.

When there is good energy it is synergistic and that always prevails. It was funny to see blacks and whites talking in code to feel each other out to see who the other was going to vote for. At the end We saw obama supporters taking pics with each other, hugging and saying God bless you. I did the same.

As one elderly white woman said to me and my family in line with her veteran husband both supporting Obama, "hate will never prevail, history will repeat itself again and us uniting to re elect the President, i am proud to be a part of history once again" What a moment...

Regardless of whom you are voting for, know this, every election you have contributed to history itself What a great country. God Bless you, God bless President Obama and the First Family and God Bless the United States of America!!!
Fabulous post; thanks!
