I am hoping the ice storm won't be to bad here!

Good luck and my prayers are with you TFW on your tests.
Hope it goes well today!

I'm up early this morning because I have to go to the hospital for another ultrasound -- second one this week on the same place. Would appreciate prayers and positive vibes.
I think I may have missed a post....

Your always in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know?

Well, it is a mess here in the DFW area. It looks like snow covers the ground but it isn't snow. It's more than an inch of solid ice but it is pretty.

I'm a pseudo-prepper so I always have the stuff that I need. But, yesterday morning I had a craving for baked chicken and I actually did "dash" off to the Neighborhood Market because they have the best baked whole chicken. I also needed, yeah, needed, bagels and cream cheese. Plus, I had a craving for shrimp. LOL. I got it all and met the neatest older couple. Pure country folk and absolute delights. We were in line together. So, I had a nice chat with them while waiting to check out. It sure makes the time go faster when you are lucky enough to be in line with nice, chatty people. I totally enjoyed them.

So, this morning the only thing that is out in my part of town is the cable TV. No big loss although I try not to miss "The View" in the mornings. I found out that all that is on the local channels is the weather. I can find out about that on the computer and with phone calls. I have a collection of more than 2000 DVDs. I recently got all the seasons of China Beach.

My neighbor across the street is out there shoveling off his driveway. They have a flat driveway. Mine is uphill from the street to the garage. I don't plan to go anywhere today but if I have to I will spread kitty litter on the driveway. I don't see myself doing that. What I do see myself doing is reading, playing games on the computer, eating chicken and taking a nap in that order.

Lol! Ketabcha, we are definitely cut from the same cloth. With all the camping gear I have plus canned goods we are all set but wont get any bad weather. Even if we do it will only last a few hours. Just in case, the motor home is all gassed up which means we would have the generator.

keep checking in if you can!!

I lost all power in the early afternoon and I decided to go to bed. When I woke up it was back on.
