Ditto. The street in front of my house is ice and that is what I don't want to chance. Lots of accidents on the highways today as well, especially 635 it appears. Temps are going up though.. so I think I'll just walk across the street to the mall this afternoon Retail therapy should help with my cabin fever.

Had a 10am appointment across the street from Presby, a few slick spots. Not bad, but didn't use any overpasses. I and several others almost busted our butts in the parking lot though. Driving home at 12:30pm, no problems whatsoever. It's amazing what a few degrees higher will do. If you have somewhere to go, I'd do it now. Snow starts around midnight, tomorrow morning could be bad.

Are we going to actually get snow with this one? I'm really hoping so, I LOVE it. If we get the optimistic (in my mind) 4 inches in Dallas, will any of that accumulate on the ground before melting off?

Looks like the chance for up to 4 inches is getting greater and greater by the hour. However, the temp tomorrow afternoon is going to rise quickly from what I hear, so it will likely melt fast. I have been longing for nice fluffy snow too!

Most of the ice is melted now. Shouldn't get cold enough to be anything like it was this morning, so even with snow I'm definitely going in tomorrow.

I hope it doesn't snow. I have to be at the office tomorrow. WFH not an option.

Snow is a lot easier to drive in then ice. As long as the ice is gone underneath the snow.

I'll probably leave the house at 6:30-6:45; work is 14 miles away and I have to be there at 8. Since most of my commute is on 75/PGBT, I'll be using surface roads tomorrow so it'll take quite a while.

Let's hope my management's refusal to move a critical meeting won't result in a car accident. I just got this damn car in October.
