So are the major streets and freeways mostly cleared?

I've only driven on local roads.

Honestly, not that bad, but not good enough that I want to have to try to drive 30 miles back from Dallas to get home as it melts and refreezes. Plenty of accidents still reported on the highways last time I checked.

DISD schools closed again tomorrow, as well as others (including our district). Another "snow day". There are worse fates in the world, as long as the power stays on.

I'm inclined not to go in tomorrow but my work buddy wants to.

Anyone know what 75SB from McKinney looks like? Has it been treated? Is it dry?

I can huff it a few icy blocks but I'm not interested in driving 30 miles into Dallas on black ice.

My husband made it to Coppell and back from east Colleyville with no problems. No 4WD- just slow and steady. He said there were cars in the ditch, likely from going too fast.
