So,,if I am diabetic, my immune system is compromised so getting the virus can lead to quick escalation of inflammation related negative consequences. Many of the infected patients try to relieve themselves of the symptoms by taking pain-killers however they do not target the cause by taking anti-inflammatory remedies, which according to her is the single-most important thing that you should focus on i.e. reducing inflammation. On that same premise, anti-inflammatory foods such as ginger, turmeric, garlic, lemon, that boost immunity, are important to prevent infection. There is a very good article on inflammation that everybody should read and share. It explains inflammation, consequences and anit-inflammatory remedies.

I work in the airline industry and have for 14 years. I agree changes will occur, but that article is click bait. There is no scenario imaginable that would require passengers to show up 4 hours before a flight. Blood tests are also going to be a non-starter. I also highly doubt immunity passports will be a thing in our lifetime.

What is more likely is what will be required of the airline. They will probably be required to provide extra sanitation to the planes between flights, passengers may be required to do a thermal scan at security or at the gate before boarding, and masks may be required for the short term. There probably will be a long term drop in passenger traffic of about 10% (maybe 20%).

But I guess stuff like that doesnt sell papers.

My wife started wearing a mask and wiping things down on airline flights last year. She catches infections easily, and her job had her flying frequently, usually on small and crowded commuter flights.

Sad as it is - it may be that your condition precludes you from flying, as it would from scuba diving or spelunking.

Anyone whose claustrophobia is that severe needs to be seeking, and pursuing with intent, and following up on, intensive therapy. It can be treated. It's not like being paraplegic.
