Old downtown Plano is not Central Plano. It would be considered East Plano.

Edit: I see the zip code you're talking about now. That zip code would be in Central Plano IMO.

I live in east Plano, far east, adjacent to Parker then Murphy. There is a large nature preserve in east Plano. Lots of green along Los Rios. Very quite and scenic.

central plano is ok, middle class but declining

east plano is plain ghetto. lets just say you need to speak Spanish and be in section 8 housing

You should go drive around the cedar crest area in Dallas or the eastland area of Fort Worth. Some perspective might assist your view.
