Cackling nonsense that gossipy housewives concoct to feel superior to others. It is quite pathetic.

It happens in all areas. There was a poster on here who use to go on and on about how much she hated the attititude in west Plano specifically, but then she would proceed to tell all about her 8 car garage and car collection. It was clear why she so liked her city. She enjoyed being on the high socio-economic side of her city.
I believe she said she had 9 cars at one point... one of them must have had to sit outside, the horror!

I always found her posts amusing and entertaining. She was a fierce advocate of Garland and equally fierce hater of West Plano.

Remember her too well. Even name-dropped often about the make of her car - a Porsche Cayenne I think.

I recall she even clarified once that the Cayenne was the "Turbo" $100K model as opposed to the base model driven by the posers in Plano.

Yeah I didnt always agree with her, but I liked her passion. She really believed in Garland, thought it was heaven on earth...as opposed to that purgatory known as Rowlett, and then of course, the seventh circle of hell that is otherwise known as West Plano

I do not agree that parts of Plano are negatively impacting other parts. Plano has very good public education. Plano has a diverse population make up. More affordable homes available in PISD are a benefit for the city itself. A city that is dominated by high cost housing does not offer a well rounded experience to students.

A family raising their kids in The Woodlands, a higher income Master Planned Community near Houston, indicated one kid was not very motivated to study and achieve good grades. The kids logic was even the kids making low grades in his school had nice clothes and lived in a nice home, he did not see a need to apply himself when that was the worst he saw in his world.

A diverse city in all respects including family income diversity is not a bad thing. Always two sides to a coin
