Rain Rain Rain.. Tomorrow to Thursday. Front comes through, Low develops along the front and stalls out. Gulf moisture will be tapped.

This same moisture gave Florida 15" of rain BUT wont to us. GFS should be wrong with that insane amount it showed days ago.

here's uptons thinking. 1-3" seems reasonable. Maybe more local spots.

I hate to complain about the rain, but BOOOOO. Crappy morning. However, we are still in a deficit for the year by quite a few inches, right? At least the rain is on a weekday, not the weekend.

I am not in a deficit YTD, unfortunately this may still be reported since the nearest formal stations are Bridgeport and Central Park. Edit: Based on my at home station, I am still roughly 0.8" down from the average. Close enough.

My station recorded 4.63" so far this month in Norwalk. 22" on the year. Unfortunetly you're right, NWS stations wont show the same for one sole reason... Norwalk was caught in local heavy downpours numerous times while Bridgeport wasnt. All those downpours add up. A few times it rained in Stamford/Norwalk/Wilton and nothing in Bridgeport. Very spotty this year.

Default June Temps 2012

Entire month of June has been below normal for the NorthEast..except for some local spots. Litchfield, Hartford, Windham and Tolland have been well below so far.

New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, North Carolina have had well below normal temps. Sure doesnt feel like June out there in the 60s most of the time.

Default Climatological summary norwich, ct

I came across this today. Its for the station in Norwich. It gives us all the temps, records and data from 1981 to present.

A little surprising annual average snowfall is 21.6.
