Beautiful weather coming up finally...I dont see rain for at least 5 days now with High pressure settling over us. Only issue(for some) is the Northeast flow will keep temperatures tammed. The higher hills could hit 40s at night but mostly 50s everywhere and 60s/70s during the day. Inland areas could hit 80 next few days but generally a cool, dry mid June coming up.

Enjoy.

Nice cool June weather the next few days, but possible big turnaround Wed. and Thurs. NWS is showing upper 80s in tri-state and Hartford areas, but NWS Albany is showing mid 90s for Litchfield County! Will be interesting to see who's right.....

That is a southwest wind profile, which is a downsloping compressional wind in central NH. Hopefully that hot air won't last very long. Remember that record highs are in the mid 90s so a southwest flow pattern isn't typical during summer for our area. A southerly or southeasterly wind component is more common.

Not complaining at all for Mid June. some local spots on Long Island hit 40s. NorthWest CT also entered upper 40s overnight. Mostly low 50s everywhere.

All models agree on the Wednesday/Thursdays heat now. Widespread 80s and 90s.

GFS left...EURO right for Thursday afternoon temps

Yeah, NWS has everyone at 95 Wednesday and Thursday now. But they're showing rain Friday and back to the 70s for the weekend so it looks like "below normal" has been the trend this month for a change......
