Friday Storm Update:::::

GFS brings the storm towards Great Lakes (by now you should know that means rain for us)
Euro has the perfect track for a snowstorm for us, exits Virginia Beach and out
Look what the Canadian and German has now.

All models agree something is happening on Friday or Saturday as well.

Canadian and German now have a snowstorm north of Freehold, NJ. Yesterday they were suppressed south.

GFS will wait to cave to the world. Garbage model. Billions of our money goes into it for updates and they STILL can't compete.

I thought today was supposed to be 40s. Guess the clouds didn't break as early as though.

Yup.. they had to lower the max today

National Weather Service New York NY

Have lowered high temperatures for this update given the
persistent mid level stratocu that remains over much of the
CWA. The weak cold front/sfc trough was located over central PA
and out ahead of it, gusty winds increase and temperatures were
mixing into the mid 40s..

Despite being in the ‘jackpot’ zone - a WWA has been thrown up for Northern and Southern FFC. Euphoria cancelled.

NWS goes up with the totals. 6-8" down to the Merritt in Fairfield. I never seen them so bullish.

It started getting sunny and warmer here in southern Westchester right after your post... But my son in Danbury told me it was still dreary clouds and in the 30s there so I don't know if it's different now by him or you.
