Max and Min temps this summer so far at Bridgeport, CT.


Only 1 heat wave.
Only 15 days above 85°.
June had more well above normal days than July & into August




By the end of August the max temp normal goes below 80°. (Pink dots) It's coming. Fall first, then Winter. You cant stop it.

Watch the North movement of the clouds past 4rs..
Not raining north of Ocean City, MD yet though.
Staying off the coast for now but expected to get rain tonight as the whole Jet shifts north. Then the heat arrives after that

Today is the 215th day of the year and today was the 15th coldest departure from normal max temp of 2021.

Max of 74° Normal of 83°. -9° below normal.

May 29 & 30 was -20° below normal for the high.

24hrs+ of rain off the NJ-NY coast. RI-MA continue to get rain with some locations getting over 2" already

Lets look at the temp departures past 7 days... Lots of below normal blues and purples!


So for the period of July 28 to August 5th, BDL Avg temp was 68.4°. That's 3rd coldest. Coldest since 1956 for the period.

Weak 1015 mb low off the southern New Jersey coast. Keeping temps in the 70s under the clouds
