I know, and so much growth now. Tomorrow nice but I'll be busy all day. Maybe some Nighttime mowing? lol. I'll have to wait till weekend I guess.

Everything is lushing up out there now.

Adding todays rainfall into the mix (0.19"), that's almost 4 inches of rain in past 3 weeks. (3.75").

For some odd reason OKX has not done something like this yet (they did pretty quickly 10 years ago). But the site I noted in the earlier post will get you the new numbers for BDR and other places.

Funny thing (and something they should've smoothed), BOX, BDR and Central Park all have small measureble snowfall averages for October due to 2011 skewing the data. Again, they should've "smoothed" that because measurable snowfall in October are once or twice in a lifetime events in those places and it's inaccurate to say the norm is 0.1" or 0.2"

Interestingly, none of the BOX sites warmed up anywhere near as much as NYC and BDR did. The most phenomenal one (which I predicted noting a lot in this forum about their unusual warm and perhaps even questionable nighttime low temperatures) was LGA.....I think their summer month low temps went up something like 3 degrees! Something is going on there that is not "you know what" as not many other stations anywhere went up like that!

Average Annual snowfall for BDL is now 51.7" which is up +11.2"???? So the Previous normal was 40.5"???

There was a lot of missing data from 1996-2002 but that sounds off.

Nowdata has 42.8" (1981-2010)
48.3" (1991-2020)
Using July-June.

44.7" (1981-2010)
49.4" (1991-2020)
Using Jan-Dec

Here we go with mismatching numbers.

What are the odds that April AND May wont have a warmer max temp than March?

So far only 2 days above normal with the max temp this month. Still lot's of May to go

Here's Bridgeport, CT.

79° in March.
70° in April.
74° so far in May

I just wish December, January and February temps would go back to "normal" so the tick population isn't as rampant in the spring.

If you go on the NOAA site I mention in my earlier post, there are also now 15 year normals (2006-2020). I believe BDL's snowfall goes back down to around 45" there (the 15 year normal)
