Nope. Not a single drop. There was some distant thunder that got my hopes up. You're further south than we are.

Started off wet here then 6 days of no precip.

Here's the total rainfall since May 1st. (not including yesterday since those reports are just starting to come in)

Most of CT over 2" but there are a few that are still under.

Interesting. I think there was some rain here overnight a while back. Seems like forever though and the cars are really green with pollen. The map is slightly deceiving--there must be pockets that just do not align with what the map says. Around Farmington area it's dry as a bone.

Only 0.03" here in past 6 days. Some pop ups around again this evening. Just mowed so I can use a downpour now .

These are very localized. Ones where its raining over your neighbors house but not yours. lol

Here's a spot near Yankee Expressway in Farmington. May 3-4 good amount of rain fell and again May 9-10. Both were Evening/Nighttime rainfall. You need to get a gauge so you don't miss any.

But we all know 2" of rain evaporates within days anyway especially when warm.

It somehow feels more anticipated than usual for me! Probably a combination of how cool April was, and the long-awaited loosening of Covid restrictions. Should make for a true summer. Bring it on!

No rain in sight. June July Temps

Jet Stream is north of us and we're inside the ridge (where its usually Sunny & Hot). Saw it snowing in Edmonton and Montana yesterday. LOL. See where the rain and storms are? My friend in Houston is getting flooded because of the pattern setup.
