Here's a look at the evening temps out there.
Bridgeport site got knocked offline thanks to Isaias

Would you rather it be 30 degrees or 80 degrees at 8pm without power? You know my answer.

Over half million still.

Watch this number drop hard when those out of state crews come in. Had Eversource called them before the storm this number wouldnt have been 555k 3 days later. Guarantee that.

Feels like being without power for weeks is part of the authentic Connecticut experience, lol

Currently there is a surface lot in downtown Hartford filled with out of state utility trucks. Looks like the linemen are spending the night at the Hilton. This area is one of the few with power in the area so it makes sense. Hopefully they can start making a dent in these outages tomorrow morning!

It’s absolutely mind boggling how Eversource isn’t held to a higher standard. They should be embarrassed that it took three days for them to ring other regions for assistance.

And only a fairly new one, at that, beginning in 2011.

My section of Cheshire just got power this morning at 4am. There was still some traffic lights out on Route 10 going south.

2pm today will make it Day #4. Connecticut still leads in outages but dropping now with help from out of state crews.

88,429 back on in just last 12hrs. That's all that Eversource needed to do. Contact crews from out of state before the storm to be ready for this. NOT 1-3 days after. We wouldn't of been out for 4-7 days.

But to be fair, I didn't expect this either. Knew the East side of a storm is always the worst but didn't expect this with a weak storm.

Day 4 and roads still impassible. There has been no progress from Eversource. Was thinking if everyone didn't pay their next bill that maybe they would get the message about how pissed we are.
