There goes "Perfect" out the window...I got mist here. Ground is wet. Frustrating

You can see the radar showing moisture coming from the ocean.

Interesting to note Surface winds from the ENE. Mid Level winds from the SE and Upper Level winds from the WNW.

You can see the clouds here moving opposite direction the moisture is. VERY COOL

What happened? I didn't see any rain in the forecast last night. Thought it was supposed to be warmer too, not even 70

To be fair my backyard hit 68 (at 6:30 PM), so not too far off... Although the morning was definitely cloudier than forecasted.

Turned out to be a nice day after 3pm. Was nice to be with family again. Some wearing masks, all using the hand sanitizer I had ready for them. All staying 6'+ and all wearing masks when near food.

And now for the moment of being grateful for living near the coast! 90s in Montreal and central NY. I'll take my 75. Dews in the 60s though so its humid.

I had fog this morning and looks like again tonight

Cool discussion from today and this evening .. I saw the line of stratus off the coast.

Areas of fog, along with some stratus, remains just south of
Long Island, and as the land cools this evening the stratus and
fog is expected to move inland. Timing may be similar to what
had occurred Monday evening with stratus and fog along the
south shore of Long Island 23Z to 00Z. A weak southeast to south
flow remains with high pressure centered off the northeast
coast and nosing into the mid Atlantic region. Moisture is again
expected to be rather shallow 2000 ft or less, with subsidence
and a strong low level inversion once again. Not expecting
widespread drizzle so will leave out of the forecast. However,
will bring in clouds and fog, which may become dense after 05Z,
around 23Z to 00Z. Holding off on a dense fog advisory at this
time

Continuing to monitor trends on satellite early this evening.
Starting to see stratus move back north across the east end of
Long Island and towards the SE CT coast. There are also signs
that fog/stratus along western LI shore has thinned and
diminished over the last few hours. Webcams along the coast
show that it is mostly stratus at this time with any fog
residing further offshore. Latest thinking is that the stratus
will overspread from SE to NW towards sunset and then continue
this evening. The biggest question is how far north does it get
and will there be dense fog overnight. The dense fog may end up
being located closest to the coast with just stratus further
inland. Have continued to hold off on a dense fog advisory at
this time

GFS, GEM have us north of the 540 thickness line in June.

And if that's not enough, the ICON takes it to the 532 line.
