Previously leaves were mentioned as affecting reception in a negative way. I read one of the related threads suggested by the site and was surprised to see more that one post mentioned reception deteriorates when the leaves are off the trees.

Mark2000 - started this thread

Yes, I agree. When the leaves come down, the reception gets worse. I am surrounded by tall trees (about 10 acre of them), so I know this well. By the way, I tried several different antennas over the last few years. I think finally I found the best one (for my situation): Clearstream 2v. I have one in the attic and one on the roof. Both are giving me the best results so far. I get minimal pixelation, only when it is very windy (this is due to bare tree branches swaying back and forth).
Yes, I use a compass app on my phone to aim the antenna.

Don't know if this will re-activate this thread - but last night I had no over the air signal from WVIT channel 30. Same with 2 TVs, channel 3 was fine. I wonder if they were having transmitter trouble? This was around 10:50pm 11/3/22. The signal was fine from 6pm to about 7pm. The signal is good today, 11/4.
