In years past it definitely was, and was much more in line with dutchess co. NY totals, because of the elevation and because we’re on the western edge and north and cold enough (and south and close enough to the actual storm— double whammy!),that’s usually hard hit by a typical NEw England nor’easter.
But the the last 3 years or so, the Milford area, and southeast CT seemed to be the bulls eye for our state because of the unusual track recent storms have taken. Tonight’s storm seems to be the more “typical “ track we’re accustomed to. lol

Still coming down like crazy. Will try to time my last measurement right before the turnover to ice if it’s not too late.

8.25”. New Fairfield has officially blown past the forecast, and it’s still dumping down!

Current temperature is 23 degrees, so turnover is still a while off (unless the temps suddenly rise as fast as the snow has fell)

I'm not familiar with the mobile version of the website. But try finding "Go Advanced" below the message box and then you may see a paperclip used to attached images.

Several friends of mine are posting horrific commutes on Facebook. My buddy who lives in Milford left Greenwich at 430 PM and is still on 95. Another former coworker said it’s taking 2 hours to go from Danbury to exit 14 in Southbury.

Boy, I do not miss you, Connecticut.
