Not as good as Slipperman but for a $140 camera I'm good with it.

Taken this morning. I just love the scent of Lilacs! Happy the tree is producing. (Added Blood Meal this year)

5/9/15. Robins Nest & Eggs inside my Spruce Tree. The blue string is from an old frayed tarp I had laying around. I left it out on purpose since I realized birds use it to build their nests

Comparison Photo from Beacon Falls, CT.

Just over 2 weeks ago it still looked like winter & struggled past 40s in the day time. This morning I wasn't surprised how Spring/Summer it looked & felt in the 70s.

Also notice the River was a little higher last month. (Snow melt/rains)

Probably the fastest Bare/Bud to Leaf time I witnessed. 2 pics. May 4 & May 11. Like someone painted on it. Just 7 days!

I'll have a seasonal loop soon.

Beautiful drier morning here!

How Long Island looked yesterday morning vs this morning.
There's a timelapse video with link that shows the fog rolling in and out yesterday.

Took advantage of potentially the last morning in the 40s yesterday and last day staying in the 60s. Went hiking in NorthWest corner of CT. Highest peak in the state, Mt Bear. 2200'

First, the drive...

Driving through northern Litchfield County was just so relaxing. Long stretches without electric wires, seeing cars, fresher air then near the coast, scents came alive like firewood, grass, trees, ect.

Started as chilly May morning in the mid 40s and was low 40s when I got there.

Past by farmland

Past by Cows

Past by Acres of Land for sale. "Open Fields and Wooded Hillsides"

Past by woodsy areas with Rivers nearby

Past by cute little towns where stores looked like houses. No tall buildings anywhere in sight!

NY Plates seen here. We are close to the border. (Salisbury, CT)

New England Village Centre

I past 2 awesome looking villages and wanted to snap a photo but the congestion there was disgusting and didn't have a chance to even pull over. I said forget it.

This was after I past the cool looking part of the village on a hilly corner. Way too many people. Back further with Google Earth.

Church I think. I don't see any crosses.

On way up I took Route 7 to 112 to 44 to 41.
On way back I took 41 to 44 to 22 to I-84. Route 22 is an awesome ride on other side of CT border!
