I hate the heat but wow what a gorgeous day. Low dewpoints and mid 80s. For most people this is a perfect summer day. Everyone is in their pools all over my neighborhood.

2 PM UPDATE... TRANQUIL MID SUMMER WEATHER IN PROGRESS ACROSS SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND WITH TEMPS IN THE LOW TO MID 80S AT 2 PM AND DEW PTS IN THE COMFORTABLE 50S!

Yeah.. Not often we have DPs in the 50s! I wonder if we ever had 80s with 40s.

Dewpoint is 53 in NYC right now. Not a muggy heat at all!

Yup.... 4pm Temps are Summerish but dewpoints are not. WOW!

Islip 51°!
NYC 54° (LGA shown here).
Philly 54°.
Hartford 55°.

Clear skies mostly out there. My dewpoint is higher than NYC. Still 54 with temps in the 80s?

Can we all agree this type of heat is better for us??????

I MUCH prefer this heat over heat with humidity......sometimes felt a little hot in the direct sun but otherwise it was very nice....

No complaints over today, but I'd take any heat over winter!

Yup! I can tolerate heat MUCH MUCH better with drier air. Can you feel the difference this morning? I can.

This morning dew points in 60s. Like an extra weight on me. Bit Muggier out there. Lets see if they can dry up as the day moves on. I tell you, it's hard to get what we got yesterday low-mid 50s! Lets see what happens.

Temps generally in the 70s everywhere but some 80s in spots showing up already. (Long Island, NJ, NYC)

Good morning! Today is shaping up to be another nice summer day with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s with plenty of sunshine. The UV Index is very high so be sure to bring the sunscreen with you if you are heading to the beach or spending time outdoors today.

I think KBDL hits 93 today.

Can you guys feel the difference today?

Unfortunately I got bad news....

LOST reference with the French Lady ... RUN....HIDE....or DIE

True Summer is here, coming, and staying it looks like. We'll see. Ugh. Chicago Dewpoints in the 80s? Upper 70s into CT? Real feel of 90s days on end. Sure we'll get breaks here and there but mid Summer is here.
